By Year 6 children will begin to be able to compile a filmography and evaluate their own work as film makers and web designers.

They will be experimenting with their own ideas for projects and research and need access to ICT resources to be able to develop their own projects.

By this stage, some children with have a need for specialised training. Local high schools CLC's have been very helpful to us by providing access to studios and advanced editing suites. They may be able to use special effects - green screen; using software such as Pinnacle and compose their own music for films.

Children can continue to use photographs and short films (animation and film) to convey their ideas and messages. They could animate poems, classic tales, historical events, scientific processes to be used as resources for other classes.

As the school produces more and more multimedia projects, there will be issues around viewing and showing the childrens work. This needs to be considered when investing in ICT and developing space in the school - studio space/cinema/sound recording.
