Foundation children work with an adult and are encouraged to take a digital photograph relating to a current topic. Children should already have had the opportunity to look at and discuss photographs as a construct ie who took that picture?. Then they are given a camera to hold and shown which button to press to take a picture. Independently they choose a subject and take a photo themselves. Consider using polaroids because they are instant and will quicky promote discussion.
